My Favorite Song!
My favorite song is Firework by Katy Perry.
I like this song because it's really up-beat and it sounds very energetic. It also uses Figurative Language, such as "Do you ever feel, so paper thin..." which is an example of a metaphor. Also, it holds a very good message which is "Be Yourself." I think that's a very important message for everyone because it's important to be yourself, not hide yourself and not be someone else. The melody is also very good to because it makes me want to sing along.

Answering "Madam and the Rent Man" Questions
Here are my answers to the questions.
1) They were both arguing for a long time and eventually agreed with each other that they were not pleased with each other. The Madam was not pleased that she had to pay so much money while the apartment was in a very bad shape. On the other hand, the rent agent was not pleased that the Madam did not want to pay. So they agreed to disagree.
2) I think that the message of the poem was to say what's on your mind and to not treat poor people differently.
3) Some of the sentences were not written in the correct grammar. Also, the choice of words affected the tone of the poem.

Visualizing Madam and the Rent Man Poem by Langston Hughes
When I read the poem Madam and the Rent Man, I visualized several things. First, I visualized the woman arguing with the rent agent when she said that they didn't even fix the apartment. I also visualized all the things that were happening in the apartment, such as the rats running in the cellar or the floor squeaking. Lastly, I visualized the woman being relieved and the rent agent being worried, but they were both satisfied at the same time when they said that they agreed with each other.
